If you weren't watching derby this weekend, what on earth were you doing?
It's been an absolutely phenomenal weekend for roller derby, with the inaugural European Continental Cup happening in Telford, England.
With an absolutely stacked bracket everyone was looking forward to some fierce competition, with front runners Kallio Rolling Rainbow and our own second seed, all the way through to the 'absolutely not an eighth seed team' Middlesborough every game was a fight that provided some amazing plays, nail biting scorelines and genuinely inspiring stories:
- Brewdoll is not afraid to take that star and then shows up when she has it.
- We have a never ending waterfall of blockers that held even Sara Gilbert back. <3
- Manija and Chancleta's jamming is amazing, that edgework yo!
- We're pretty sure Val's butt has jammer magnets in it.
- Apparently Snowy can jump, oh boy can she jump!
And there were so, so many more moment that has made the weekend amazing, every single member of our A Team showed up!
