Our neighbours East Coast Cyclones are hosting a double header in Greystones on Saturday 17th September. First up, our Charter are taking on Central City Rollergirls’ (Birmingham, UK) A team. The last time these teams met was a close 26 point win for DRD in 2013 and with both teams learning a lot in Florida at Beach Brawl tournament back in May this is sure to be a good game. Trivia note: DRD’s first ever game was against CCR’s B team way back in 2011 where CCR B took the win by 60 points. We’ve come a long way since then!
The headlining game is ECC vs Central City’s B team. These teams have never met before but should lead to an exciting game!

After party is in JK Stoutmans on Thomas St.

It’s located between two red line Luas stops (Heuston Station & James’s Hospital) so you can get off at either & it’ll be a 5 minute walk along the tracks.
Also, Dublin Bus has three routes with stops (heading into town, stop #1995. Leaving town, stop #1941) within 2/3 minutes walk (123, 13, 40). If you’re unsure, just say to the driver that you’re going to Steeven’s Gate Apt. Building (it’s right beside the venue & most drivers should be familiar with it).
